Ferrara Bakery NYC: This Bakery shop is there in NYC since 1892 when there were people who love to listen to opera. Ferrara Bakery NYC shop was opened by great grandfather Enrico Scoppa and great grand-uncle Antonio Ferrara. They both together opened a cafe, Antonio Ferrara one who was an opera impresario and showman, opened a cafe called Cafe A Ferrara. Caruso thought the coffee marvelous but especially loved the cookies and cakes. After the first world war was also known as the depression year (1929) when Enrico Scoppa’s daughter married Peter who started handling the Bakery till his life. He also transforming a charming neighborhood cafe into a world-famous shrine of delicious tastes.
Today, Ferrara was handled by the fifth generation and even they have only one thought and requirement: We take great pride to ensure that the legacy of quality, consistency, and customer service that has been handed down through five generations, remains intact and continues to flourish.
